Gamma World Origins - Fighter

Fighter
There's nothing subtle about your fighting style.
You have a very classic approach to fighting -- you move up next to an enemy and you hit it.  Simple and direct.  Maybe your friends call you reckless, or maybe they appreciate your blunt technique.

Appearance:  Your other origin is going to dictate your appearance -- with a little work almost anyone can learn to be a fighter.

FIGHTER TRAITS
Mutant Type: Strength; Bio; +2 to bio overcharge
Skill Bonus (Level 1):  Gain a +4 bonus to Athletics checks
Incredible Stamina (Level 1): Gain a +2 bonus to Fortitude
Weapon Expertise (Level 1):  You gain a +2 bonus to attacks made with melee weapons
Fighter Critical (Level 2 or 6): When you score a critical hit, the attack deals 1d10 extra damage and the target is knocked prone

FIGHTER POWERS
Hit 'Em Hard (Fighter Novice)
You back your attack up with your full might.
At-will * Physical, Weapon
Standard Action * Melee weapon
Target: One creature
Attack: Strength + your level + weapon accuracy vs. AC
Hit: 2[W] + twice Strength mod + twice your level physical damage

Shake It Off (Fighter Utility)
Your foes are in awe of your ability to take their hits without flinching.
Encounter * Physical
Immediate Interrupt * Personal
Trigger: You are hit by an attack and take damage
Effect: Reduce the amount of damage by 5 + your Strength modifier.  If the attack does no damage the attacker is surprised until the end of your next turn.

Manic Assault (Fighter Expert)
You unleash your full fury against your enemy with a flurry of blows
Encounter * Physical
Standard Action * Melee weapon
Target: One creature
Attack: Strength + your level + weapon accuracy vs.AC.  Make the attack three times
Hit (one attack): 2[W] + Strength modifier + twice your level physical damage
Hit (two attacks): 3[W] + Strength modifier + twice your level physical damage and the target grands combat advantage until the end of your next turn
Hit (three attacks): 3[W] + Strength modifier + twice your level physical damage and the target grants combat advantage until the end of the encounter
Miss: The target is pushed 3 squares and falls prone

Notes:  The Fighter is a take on the D&D Fighter class.  The inspiration for this origin is less the more modern 3rd or 4th edition Fighter classes, who are probably better represented by the Brawler or the Knight.  Instead this class is more inspired by the Basic/Expert Fighter class and my memories of Fighters played by others back in the day.  The inspiration is almost purely in flavor rather than rules, with the intent to have a fighter who is the guy who just hits things.
